June 28th pictures: Daylilies, daisies, poppies, and zinnia-related goodness at sunset

1. The daylilies back by the shop, where the vegetable garden is planted, have just begun to bloom. Hurrah! Hurrah for jazzy color.

2. Out in the front yard are daisies, with the reminder that “Hey, we’re in the front yard too. It isn’t just about echinacea, you know.” Sure it isn’t, daisies. Sure it isn’t.

3. Alright, you’re pretty too, daisies.

4. I’ve been meaning to get a few shots of the poppy seed pods for a few days now, but kept forgetting until tonight.

5. They’re such lovely little structures.

6. It’s taking a bow.

7. Lightning bug on poppy leaf.

8.

9. These zinnias are opening soooo sloooowly.

10. Oops, turns out I wasn’t done with the poppy.

11. Zinnia
