As of 1:40 a.m. central standard time, the zucchini-blueberry-raspberry bread was finally done. It was good. The eggs and zucchini came from the farm where I work. I picked the raspberries — all twenty minuscule berries — at home. The oil came from my canola crop. The butter came from my cows. The flour came from my mill (and adjacent wheat crops). Ok, those last three are a lie, but the eggs and most of the produce in these things was from around here, so that’s kind of nice.
These pictures were technically taken in July, but I can call this a June 30th picture if I want. I still haven’t gone to bed yet.
