Bitterly cold today. Awful roads. Before I left the house, though, it all seemed pretty nice and cozy. My big, south-facing living room window was half covered in frost; the north-facing ones, completely festooned.

June appreciates the frost just as much as I do. Actually, she probably doesn’t like it all that much. It cuts her off from the world outside.
There was some really neat hoarfrost I noticed driving along today but I had neither the time nor the inclination (it was bitterly cold; windchill -15 which is especially cruel after you’re used to 40s and even 50s a short while ago) to get pictures. Another time.

Gorgeous pictures of the frost! (and, of course, of gorgeous June) Our climate is too warm for frost here on the west coast, and I miss it.
I thot that first photo was great.
The way the light is captured makes the cat seem almost translucent at the edges. Delicate and beautiful.
A very nice set of pictures.
Amazing all your frost pictures
