December 15th – 17th

Today I briefly visited the cemetery from a few days back.

Also, this weekend, I went to Iowa to visit a friend.

THE OFFICIAL COLLEGE OF IOWA WEEKEND 2012. As you can see, it was a wild weekend with Iowa honey; the Cedar Rapids NewBo City Market (that's its emblem, the rooster riding the tractor); a snaggle-toothed black cat named Nikki, some light yarn-bombing (not perpetrated but rather witnessed by us; that's the garlic head dangling from the banner -- there were other yarn creations, but none so adorable as this); a heaping bowl of cowboy caviar for breakfast; and finally, there was ornamental grass.
